Abstract: This paper presents the design and implementation of CampusConnect, a centralized campus platform developed to address the inefficiencies of traditional, manually driven, paper-based service systems. This system integrates three critical student-based service systems: the hostel management system, the canteen ordering system, and the bus tracking system. All the domains are integrated into a single web-based solution built on an admin-user architecture. With Supabase as the backend and PostgreSQL as the cloud database, the platform ensures real-time sync, secure role-based authentication, and encrypted communication over HTTPS. The front-end is coded with React.js and Shadcn, using Vite.js for an interactive, responsive UI, while the bus tracking module uses Flask-socketio for WebSocket-based communication with OSM (OpenStreetMap) for dynamic map visualization, GPS-enabled driver assistance for accurate tracking, and ETA prediction. The novelty of CampusConnect lies in its seamless integration of multidomain campus services into a unified platform, enabling easier assistance with real-time capabilities and data-driven optimization. This significantly reduces service delays and administrative overheads, thereby improving the overall capability of existing systems. Finally, it provides quantitative results that create significant improvements in latency and tracking accuracy, reinforcing its effectiveness and practical impact on campus operations.
