Abstract: The Pamulang University HIMA chairperson guides, engages, and encourages members to fulfill their organizational obligations. Some executive committee members are still inactive in organizational operations, attend coordination meetings poorly, and fulfill duties inconsistently. These situations demonstrate the need for democratic leadership in civic engagement. This study examines how the HIMA chairperson's democratic leadership affects the civic disposition of Pamulang University's HIMA PPKN executive committee members. This quantitative predictive correlational analysis includes 22 Pamulang University HIMA PPKN executive committee members. The sampling method was saturation. Data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire. The survey found that the HIMA chairperson's democratic leadership scored 40.36, which is ‘good’, and civic inclination scored 40.95, also ‘good’. The Pearson product-moment correlation test found a positive, significant, and strong link with a correlation coefficient (r) of 0.782 and a significance level of 0.000. The R² of 0.611 suggests that the HIMA chairperson's democratic leadership contributes 61.1% to civic disposition, while factors beyond the study's purview account for 38.9%.
